Getting Back to Collecting

I began collecting National Geographic in the early 2000s. I have a pretty substantial collection with almost every issue from 1999 to 1917, and random issues going back to 1888.

This includes an original Issue 1, Number 1, in excellent condition and a copy of the 1930 Macchu Picchu book with the original slip case.

I also have a sizable collection of books, videos, school bulletins, and other ephemera. 

I was traveling around the world for 13 years, and I'm just now bringing everything out of storage and organizing it. 

I'm going to try to fill as many holes in the collection as possible. I also have a LOT of duplicates from the 1960-1920s if anyone is interested in trading.

      Hi Gary, 

      How motivated are you to obtain the issues from 1890 - 1915 that you lack to complete your collection? I have all of the original singleton  issues from 1890-1915 if you might be interested in acquiring these. I have been planning to list my collection for auction with PBA Galleries but would consider a reasonable offer to purchase all of these as a single lot from a private collector.
