Discrepancy in position of the "Asheville Quadrangle" map between the 1922 and 1964 Reprints of NGM Vol. 1, No. 4

I recently purchased a pair of 1922 reprints of the National Geographic Magazine (see images).  These were for the Volume 1, Numbers 2 and 4.  These were the only reprints issued in 1922 and they were issued due to the fact that the original issues were extremely rare, even in 1922.  It has been documented that the 1964 reprints for these two issues were made using the 1922 versions and not the originals.

In comparing my 1922 and 1964 reprints in noticed a discrepancy in the position of the map for the Asheville Quadrangle in the Vol. 1 No. 4 reprint pair.  The article referencing this map goes from page 291 to 300.  In the 1922 reprint the map is tipped in between pages 292 and 293, near the beginning of the article.  In my 1964 version the map is positioned between pages 300 and 301, immediately after the article.

I have not notice any other discrepancies between these or the Vol. 1, No. 2 reprints at this time, but I've just started crosschecking them.  This seems to be another example of the 1964 reprints not getting it exactly correct.
