Thank you for my recent admission to membership of the Collectors Corner.
This is my first blog, and I'm half blind, so my apologies for any errors.
My special interest is in indexing. That is, I am presently developing a general index to the National Geographic Magazine in Excel format. I hope both collectors and users will find it useful and am happy to make it freely available for non-profit purposes in any practical format. So far I have found only a few partial works, e.g. guides to maps and supplements, in the Collectors Corner and elsewhere. I have also used the online indexes, but they are carbon dioxide-intensive by nature (and it's useful to have everything in one place). I do not know what special resources are available with N G S membership or whether it would suit my purpose. I would like to get access to any useful material, e.g. the 100 years index 1888-1988, either by email/download or printed material within reach of my home in Burwood, New South Wales, Australia (in the inner western suburbs of Sydney).
Best wishes from

National Geographic Magazine Indexing:
Hello, Philip --
Thank you for sending the link to eBay and doing it so quickly. I notice there are Centennial indexes available in Australia, so I'll be looking into them.
