<p>Change method of folding during "different print runs" is entirely possible (not documented by the greats, i.e. Buxbaum and Nathan).</p>
<p>There is also the possibility that "store sales" for those offered at the HQ required a different fold; don't know if this was ever offered in such a venue.</p>
<p>Then there are the maps included with the Map Indexes, of which June 1947 was one, that may have required a different fold.</p>

<p>A quick search on eBay shows 14 photographs of these maps. Five are folded "New Style", the other nine have "Original" folds. </p>
