National Geographic's Collectors Corner

Collaborative site for collectors, dealers, & anyone interested in our history.

While looking through some mags I've inherited, I notice a small difference. The January 1971 issue does not have the volume number nor the number on the front cover nor along the spine. Wondering if this is a misprint or intentionally left out.

Charlene,

Not a misprint.. It was left out so you could see the sail on the RA II. All Jan 1971 issues have no volume and number on the cover. The Feb and later issues do  have that missing info on their covers. Hopes this helps you out....

Phil

It does. Thanks
