Thank you! Doug just wrote me back and told me same price there abouts. So I feel confident with that. Ebay takes such enormous fees so maybe I will try this site first. Thanks again!!

A new collector would ask the same questions I've been asking and would probably want to feel reassured of exactly what they are purchasing.

A complete inventory matching supplements to monthly issues and knowledge of the first 18 volumes as reprints or originals would assist you (very time consuming).

There is a dealer directory at the top left margin of the home page of this web site. Perhaps one of them would make you an offer.

Because your set is bound completely in the airplane globe leather binding (a very impressive collection), if it were complete, even with the first 18 volumes as "rebound" 1964 reprints, I would consider a value, at a minimum of $3000.00.

But this is "only if" all the above is correct.

You may try listing it at this price with a best offer option for a few months (the market is extremely slow at this time for NGM - bound or otherwise) knowing a minimum price you will accept before reducing your asking price/best price offerings.

Note, as I stated in my guideline, dealers will offer far less than you can get on eBay, but the disposition of your collection will be immediate.

Good luck!

Ok thank you. its all very new and confusing to me. I'm going to try and sell the whole set first, maybe on Ebay. I still don't know what yo ask or expect from these.

1) only "loose" maps between 1888 and 1907 "could" have the word "REPRINT" on them. Every other supplement "after" Dec 1907 will be original, e.g. the reprints were only for the years 1888 through 1907.

I found the June map in the albums. (I attached)There are like a hundred other loose maps as well in baggies that I haven't begun to go through. December map must be in with those. I see this is a reprint but a lot of the other maps look authentic in this album . Not glossy and more toned.

Please stay with me on this, the details are important, "larger than the printed page" foldout maps bound within the issues DID NOT HAVE the word "REPRINT" stamped on them.

Only the large loose map sheets (usually enclosed in pockets in the back of bound volumes) - and then, not all of them had it.

If you do not have these loose map supplements, your set is not complete.

There are fold out maps between November and December are one of those the December maps? Or is it not a fold out map I am looking for?
